About
My research interests are located in the Victorian period, with a particular emphasis on women's writing and popular fiction. I am currently completing a monograph on Mary Elizabeth Braddon (Ashgate), and contributing a chapter to the Cambridge Companion to Sensation Fiction. Recently completed work includes two chapters for Blackwell's A Companion to Sensation Fiction, a new critical edition of Braddon's 1864 novel Henry Dunbar, and a companion to the life and writing of Braddon for McFarland.
