About
Research
I am a physical geographer whose research interests overlap with the geological. My geo-morphological work develops algorithms and novel methods in quantitative geomorphology to investigate active and Quaternary Earth processes. In conjunction with the insurance industry, my work on catastrophes aims to better understand the perils and methods to quantify them. Current research interests include: Glacier dynamics, Pacific volcanoes and deep Earth processes, catastrophe modelling.
Collaboration
If you are an academic, and what I am doing sounds interesting then please do get in touch as it would be great to hear from you: science is more fun in teams.
If you are motivated, highly computer literate and thinking of a PhD, then we regularly have funding available for PhD students, and I'd love to hear your ideas.
