About
Over a dozen years of consultancy in the formulation of bio-remediation, composting, chemical safety (CHIP3, COSHH, REACH etc), analytical chemistry and hazardous waste management (consignment, waste acceptance criteria) for a dozen different companies. Industrial and commercial experience backed up with a year of contract law and three years of management and financial accounting as part of first degree.
• Since 2003, Technical Director and Consultant to multinational companies in agrochemical, petrochemical, land remediation, industrial cleaning products and waste management markets and speciality chemicals through Field International Ltd, Specify Consultants Ltd, and Envirotreat Ltd.
• Preparing for the change in the safety data sheets and labelling in line for Global Harmonised System (GHS) coming into force in 2010.
• Technical Manager to toll manufacturers at Concorde Chemicals (1996) and Grotech Production (2003-6) dealing with customer, formulation and regulatory queries (COPR, PPPR, COSHH etc…) on fertilisers, pesticides and speciality chemicals.
• Clinical Supervisor (Research) to the Consultant Podiatrist in Diabetes and Tissue Viability, Northampton PCT since 1998.
• Since 2001, Visiting Lecturer in Analytical, Environmental and Forensic Science at Loughborough University.
